PCR SHREDS

Passenger Car shreds, is acronym for PCR, produced from car and SUV tires. The sizes vary from 50mm ( 2inch) to 250 mm ( 10 inch). PCR shreds are further processed to make 20mm steel free chips and steel is separated through magnetic separators and sold separately as steel.

TRUCK SHREDS

TRUCK SHREDS

Truck shreds are manufactured from largely Truck tires and also Bus tires. These tires are further processed to make crumb rubber. Crumb Rubber has wide variety of applications in Road constructions like CRMB ( Crumb Modified Bitumen) Crumb Rubber further processed to make Reclaim Rubber. Reclaim Rubber has wide applications like manufacture of conveyor Belts.

PCR Tires are cut in to sidewalls and crown instead of shredding it.

Instead of shredding TBR tires, they again are cut in to sidewalls and crown.

OTR SHREDS

OTR SHREDS

Off the Road Tires(OTR) are largely used in mining operations, after the usage these tire go to landfill. Instead of Landfill, SDR has setup a First OTR processing plant in Chennai, India, during May 2018.
